1. Put your websites URL (www.yoursite.com) in all your printed promotional materials. I can't tell you how many times I have seen business cards without the company's website info on it. Put it on cards, flyers, brochures, corporate letterhead, newsletter, signs, yellow page ads, etc.

2. Get reciprocal links to your website from other websites and company directories on the web. It's best if they are in a related industry but you can get also put them on any site you want. To see how many sites link to you go to www.Google.com and type: link:www.YourSite.com.

3. Submit your website to online directories like the Yahoo directory, DMOZ.org, the Best of the Web directory. Most have specific submission guidelines. Please read them so you are doing it right.

4. Get listed in local directories like Google LocalYahoo Local and Bing Local. These usually have a map feature which you can customize to make it easy for customers to find you. It includes things like office hours, address, phone, types of payments you take, you can add coupons, and more. They usually require verification. I recommend you do the phone verification.

5. Facebook Page. As a business, instead of a profile on Facebook, you have pages. Instead of friends, businesses have fans. Having a page is completely free. Use your page to let your fans know what’s going on. You can announce sales, specials and events. The best thing is that the information get’s shared with all their friends and can get your business great exposure and traffic.
